Adverse weather conditions
Delays in completing deliveries across parts of the UK may continue to be experienced.
The snow showers that western Scotland and northeast England have been experiencing will become increasingly confined to coasts during the day. It will remain rather cloudy across central and eastern England. There will be plenty of sunshine elsewhere, but very cold nationwide.
More scattered snow showers to come for some Irish Sea and North Sea coasts, and some more general sleet and snow for northwest Scotland. Elsewhere will be exceptionally cold with a widespread severe frost.
Over the Christmas holidays, the sleet and snow should start petering out, leaving just the odd showers. It will remain bitterly cold however, with some sunshine.
Deliveries will be attempted weather permitting, however deliveries may still be limited and/or made later than normal.
